Traffic management around the Nürburgring during Rock am Ring 2026

As part of the preparations for Rock am Ring from 05 to 07 June 2026, we would like to inform you about the following traffic restrictions affecting arrival routes:

  • In particular, delays and disruptions are to be expected on the access roads to the temporary camping areas from Wednesday, 03 June 2026 onwards.
  • The L93 will be closed to through traffic from the junction with the B258 to Müllenbach from Wednesday, 03 June 2026, 7:00 a.m. until Monday, 08 June 2026, 2:00 p.m.
  • The L94 will be closed to through traffic from the junction with the B258 to the intersection in the center of Welcherath from Wednesday, 03 June 2026, 7:00 a.m. until Monday, 08 June 2026, 2:00 p.m.
  • The K72 will be closed to through traffic from the junction with the L94 to Müllenbach from Wednesday, 03 June 2026, 7:00 a.m. until Monday, 08 June 2026, 2:00 p.m.
  • The K73 will be closed to through traffic from the junction with the B258 to the intersection in Nürburg from Tuesday, 02 June 2026, 7:00 p.m. until Monday, 08 June 2026, 2:00 p.m.
  • The K20 will be fully closed in the area of Campsite B5 from Tuesday, 02 June 2026, approximately 12:00 p.m. until Monday, 08 June 2026, approximately 2:00 p.m.
  • The remaining sections of district roads K20/K89 from Meuspath to Welcherath will be closed to traffic from Tuesday, 02 June 2026, 4:00 p.m. until Monday, 08 June 2026, 4:00 p.m.

The B258 will be closed to through traffic as follows:

  • Friday, 05 June 2026, 10:00 a.m. until Saturday, 06 June 2026, 5:00 a.m.
  • Saturday, 06 June 2026, 10:00 a.m. until Sunday, 07 June 2026, 5:00 a.m.
  • Sunday, 07 June 2026, 10:00 a.m. until Monday, 08 June 2026, 5:00 a.m.

The detours are signposted and routed as follows:

Coming from the west:

  • Direction Mayen (U1)
    • B257 – L92 – B258
  • Direction Kempenich / A61 (U2)
    • B257 – L10 – B412
  • Direction Nürburg / Meuspath (U3)
    • B257 – L92 – L93
  • Direction Welcherath (U4)
    • B257 – B410 – K89

Coming from the east:

  • Direction Blankenheim / A1 (U1)
    • L92 – B257 – L10 – B258
  • Direction Kelberg / Trier / A48 (U2)
    • L92 – B257
  • Direction Nürburg / Meuspath (U3)
    • L93 – L92
  • Direction Welcherath (U4)
    • K93 – (via Drees) K92

ℹ️ Access is permitted for visitor vehicles with the appropriate authorization and for organization/production vehicles with a valid access permit.

A shuttle bus service will be set up for the parking areas located along the B412. Bus bays will be established at the following locations on the B412:

  • Access road to Schwalbenschwanz parking area
  • Access road to Pflanzgarten / P98 on both sides
  • Access road to Brünnchen

➡️ Furthermore, speed reductions will be implemented, particularly along the B412 in the crossing areas between parking and camping zones.

Kiss & Ride (drop-off and pick-up) parking areas are located:

  • Coming from the west: at the Fahrsicherheitszentrum on the B258 at the junction with the L93
  • Coming from the east: at parking area D10 (L93 in Nürburg)

Taxis: Please also use the Kiss & Ride parking areas. Passengers may be picked up there during departure.
