Two strong brands from the Eifel region are continuing their long-standing partnership into the future: the Nürburgring and Bitburger Brewery have extended their existing agreement, securing their collaboration through the end of 2030. Due to the scale of its commitment, Bitburger will remain an “Exclusive Partner” of the Nürburgring and therefore continue to belong to the highest level within the Nürburgring partner structure.
Fans and visitors of the Nürburgring can therefore continue to enjoy Bitburger products not only around the racetrack itself, but also at locations such as ring°kartbahn and ring°bowling, as well as throughout all hotel and gastronomy facilities operated by Nürburgring Hotels & Ferienpark. In addition, the family-owned company, which has existed for more than 200 years, will once again secure the naming rights for the “Bitburger Gasthaus” and the “Bitburger Event Center.” Various advertising installations – including a logo presence at the Nürburgring info°center – are also part of the agreement.
“Our partnership is defined by trust, reliability, and a strong regional connection. Both brands stand for tradition and quality, while also sharing the ambition to continuously evolve,” explains Nürburgring CEO Christian Stephani, adding: “That is why we are very pleased to continue this journey together. Especially with regard to our 100th anniversary next year, Bitburger is a particularly authentic fit, as they were already a partner at the inaugural race in 1927.”
The Bitburger Brewery Group also views the continued collaboration with great appreciation. “Far beyond the region, the Nürburgring is an emotional place of longing with enormous appeal – while at the same time, just like Bitburger, being deeply rooted in the Eifel region. Our brands share a long history together. This makes us even more delighted to continue our presence in the legendary Green Hell for the long term,” says Michael Stumpf, Regional Sales Director Southwest of the Bitburger Brewery Group.
The extension of the partnership ensures that in the years ahead, one thing will still hold true at the Nürburgring: “Bitte ein Bit!”
