DTM Nürburgring 2026: All the information for visitors

The DTM kicks off the second half of its season at the Nürburgring. Here is an overview of all the key information for visitors.

Getting there and parking at the Nürburgring
Visitors can park their vehicles at the Nürburgring in the signposted car parks for a parking fee of 12 euros. The following routes are recommended for those travelling by car:

  • from the direction of Cologne: A1 to the end of the motorway
  • From the direction of Trier/Luxembourg: A48 to the Ulmen motorway exit
  • From the direction of Koblenz: A61 to the Wehr motorway Exit

Dekra Fan Tower
The Dekra Fan Tower offers a unique view of the Nürburgring. From the tower, which is around nine metres high, spectators can follow the action on the track from a completely new perspective. The Dekra Fan Tower is located right next to the DTM Fan Zone.

Driver of the Day powered by PME Legend
During both races, all fans have the chance to vote for their personal ‘Driver of the Day’ – simply via the DTM app or on the website.

DTM App
The new DTM app is the perfect event companion. With the app, fans at the venue won’t miss a single session or autograph session, and the integrated map makes it easy to find your way around the circuit. 

DTM Classic Showrun
At the Nürburgring, you can experience DTM history up close! Legendary cars such as the BMW E30 M3, Mercedes 190E EVO II and Audi V8 will be doing several demonstration laps every day. Look forward to the original sound, iconic liveries and plenty of nostalgia!

  • Friday: 1.20 pm to 1.40 pm and 6.05 pm to 6.25 pm
  • Saturday: 12.05 pm to 12.25 pm and 5.20 pm to 5.35 pm
  • Sunday: 9.40 am to 9.55 am

DTM eSports Final
A first for the DTM eSports Championship: for the first time ever, the championship final will be held live on site and in front of a live audience at the RaceRoom SimRaceCafé. From 3 pm to 6 pm, the action kicks off on the digital Hockenheimring, before the final race takes place on the virtual Nürburgring. Do pop along and cheer on the DTM eSports drivers in these thrilling races!

DTM Fan Tour powered by Pirelli
Embark on an exciting and exclusive journey behind the scenes of the DTM. Get first-hand insights and look forward to a special experience visiting key hotspots in the paddock (e.g. tyre service, technical scrutineering, Parc Fermé, and much more). Let yourself be surprised and immerse yourself in a new perspective on the DTM.

DTM Kart Grand Prix
On Friday evening from 6.30 pm, things will get really exciting at the Ring Kartbahn: DTM stars Tom Kalender, Ben Dörr and David Schumacher will compete against fans, media representatives and drivers from other racing series. Spectators are very welcome.

DTM Truck Go & Stop Competition
On Saturday, 15 August, the DTM Truck Go & Stop Competition enters its third round. From 6.45 pm, tractor units from teams in the DTM and the support series will compete in a special contest on the start-finish straight in front of Grandstand 3. The race will be run in knockout format over a distance of 400 metres. In the end, it’s not just speed that counts, but above all precise braking: whoever stops exactly at the finish line progresses to the next round. Following its debut last year, the format once again offers an unusual but entertaining opportunity to see the teams behind the DTM in action.

eSports Area and Beat the Pro
Visitors can put their driving skills to the test on the RaceRoom simulators. The simulators are available free of charge in the Fan Zone. The highlight at the RaceRoom stand is ‘Beat the Pro’ on Saturday evening at 5.30 pm. Here, fans compete against real DTM drivers. On the starting grid this time: DTM rookie Finn Wiebelhaus!

Fan Zone
The meeting place for fans: the DTM Fan Zone. Chill out and enjoy the DTM on a big screen, have fun on the bouncy castle, face painting and temporary tattoos for kids, the BWT Water Station, the DTM Reaction Wall, the latest DTM merchandise or ‘Meet the Drivers’: a visit to the Fan Zone is always well worth it.

Film: Need for Speed presented by CineStar
On Saturday evening from 8 pm, a highlight awaits all film fans in the DTM Fan Zone: ‘Need for Speed’ at the open-air cinema, presented by CineStar.

Meet the Drivers
On Saturday and Sunday, visitors have the chance to meet the series’ fastest drivers at a ‘Meet the Drivers’ autograph session in the Fan Zone.

Saturday

  • 12.45 to 13.05: BMW M2 Cup
  • 14.55 to 15.15: Porsche Carrera Cup Germany (PSCCD Paddock)
  • 4.15 pm to 4.45 pm: DTM

Sunday

  • 12.45 pm to 1.05 pm: ADAC GT4 Germany
  • Pit Stop Challenge by Driver 
    • For anyone who wants to test how they’d fare in the pits: the new Pit Stop Challenge by Driver in the DTM Fan Zone. Here, anyone can put their tyre-changing skills to the test against the clock. You can also win great prizes. Pop along, give it your best shot and take home the prize.

Pit Walk
On both Saturday and Sunday, the pit lane is open to spectators for a Pit Walk. Fans can then enter the pit lane and watch the racing teams up close. The Pit Walk is free for all visitors.

  • Saturday: 5.45 pm to 6.30 pm
  • Sunday: 11.50 am to 12.35 pm

Support programme
A packed programme: alongside the DTM, the Nürburgring will also host the ADAC GT4 Germany, the BMW M2 Cup and the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.
