Phil Taylor & Co : Darts stars deliver thrilling duels in the ring°arena

This will be a world champion evening at the Nürburgring. On Friday, September 11, 2020, the best darts players in the world will play thrilling duels in the ring°arena. On site, the legend is par excellence: the 16-time world champion Phil "The Power" Taylor. He meets two other major champions this evening: World Champion 2018 Rob Cross and reigning double Grand Slam winner Gerwyn Price. The German-speaking figurehead Mensur Suljovic is also present. The field is completed by "Hawaii 501" Wayne Mardle. In addition to high-profile games, the unique atmosphere is also guaranteed. Just as you know it from the Darts World Cup in England, the players and the audience will work together to create a gigantic party atmosphere. If you want to experience the atmosphere live, you can secure a ticket from 29.90 euros. Seating in various categories is available in the interior directly in front of the stage and on the stadium-like ranks of the arena.

"One hundred and eighhhhhhhty" - when this shout echoes through the hall and the spectators hold up the 180 signs, one player has just thrown the highest score, which can be reached with three arrows. What most amateur darts players rarely achieve, the professionals succeed regularly. And every time this moment is celebrated especially. You can look forward to that on September 11, 2020 in the ring°arena of the Nürburgring. Especially because on that Friday evening the players are famous greats of their sport. One name has been synonymous with darts for many years: Phil "The Power" Taylor is considered a trailblazer of the sport into limelight. He is already looking forward to the event at the Nürburgring. "If someone told me 15 years ago that someday we would play in such a great location, I would have thought he is crazy. I think it's great to be part of this mega-event! "At the Nürburgring, too, the event right next to the racetrack is already awaiting with excitement. "We are glad that we were able to win the PDC Europe and the darts gala for the ring°arena," says Michael Dürbaum, Head of Sales & Business Development at the Nürburgring. "The stage, the seats in the interior and the surrounding ranks will create a special atmosphere. All spectators can already look forward to a great event. "Part of this special evening will also be reigning double grand slam champion Gerwyn Price. The Welsh has developed in recent months to one of the greats of the sport and will want to prove this at the Nürburgring.
In addition to Phil Taylor and Gerwyn Price three more stars are awaited. Among them is also the figurehead of the German-speaking darts, Mensur Suljovic. The sympathetic Austrian is now an integral part of the top 16 in the world and may count against his modesty to the elite of the sport. Who thinks that with the 16 World Cup titles of Phil Taylor is enough, is far from it. Another world champion does not want to miss "Darts am Ring": The champion of 2018 and the current number two in the world "Voltage" Rob Cross will also provide high voltage! The man who became world champion two years ago could prove in 2019 that he was rightly crowned. "Voltage" went down this year by winning the World Matchplay and the European Championship.
The field is completed by "Hawaii 501" Wayne Mardle. The former four-time World Cup semi-finalist, who now works as a commentator on Sky Sports, is considered one of the biggest entertainers in the darts world. No one knows how to engage and entertain the audience as well as the likable Englishman in the Hawaiian shirts.
Darts galas are not ranked as official ranked tournaments, but are organized by PDC Europe with the same professionalism and are known for the pros trying to show spectacular throws and having fun with the game. In addition to normal tickets, there is also a limited number of VIP tickets available. These entitle to early entry including participation in a Meet & Greet with the players, catering until the start of the show, as well as free drinks and service throughout the evening.
