The comeback of the Formula 1 at the Nürburgring was also a race of special events and will be remembered for several reasons: First of all, the British Mercedes driver equalled the previous victory record of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher with his 91st Grand Prix success. In addition, 13,500 spectators celebrated a great motorsport festival at the "Formula 1 Aramco Eifel Grand Prix" despite difficult corona conditions, and in the very last lap Max Verstappen set a new lap record at the Nürburgring with 1:28,139. The spectators went home accordingly satisfied after the sunny race day.
