Trackwalk Nordschleife - Experience the myths of the Green Hell

The Nordschleife at the Nürburgring is considered as a challenge for race drivers. Within one lap, a race driver faces 20,832 kilometres, conquers 73 turns and deals with a difference in altitude of 300 meters. No other circuit in the world provides these unique conditions. The 'Trackwalk Nordschleife' offers families and fans of the Nürburgring the opportunity to experience the track first-hand by walking on the 'holy asphalt' and by learning all the ins and outs about the Green Hell from a professional race driver.
The term 'Trackwalk' originally comes from the motorsport industry and describes the possibility for race drivers to get close to the track before a race starts. In this way the driver can get used to the track layout and its asphalt.
The 'Trackwalk Nordschleife' offers all interested parties the unique opportunity to get to know the track in person. Within a guided bus tour with 'stops' at selected spots, fans of the Nürburgring, tourist drivers and families can encounter the Green Hell up close and learn all the special features about the track through the eyes of a professional race driver. The first trackwalk for those who want to get close to the legendary race track will take place on Friday, 27 April 2018, at 7.30pm.
The explanations, tips and tricks of the professional guides will be given in German and English. Everyone can participate – Children and young adults up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times.
