Nürburgring presents rallycross track for FIA championship race

The Nürburgring has presented its new rallycross race track. The one-kilometre course features alternating asphalt and gravel surfaces as well as fast corners and straights. Construction of the track in the Müllenbach Loop for the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy took three months. On 1 - 2 August, the series will come to the Eifel for the first time and is sure to provide good entertainment with captivating races. Spectators will have a perfect view of the pilots’ manoeuvres, as the entire track can be seen from all seats, which are arranged in a stadium-like fashion.
More Information & Tickets
Adrenaline and action are guaranteed when the cars compete against each other at the FIA World RX of Germany. With more than 600 PS under the bonnet, they accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds, which makes them faster than modern Formula 1 cars. The “exchange of paint” is considered good form, as the drivers are as relentless as need be when fighting for the racing line – to the delight of the spectators.
The newly completed track will provide the perfect surface for the exciting races. In addition to the alternating surfaces, the track’s direction of driving is exceptional as well, because unlike all other racing series at the Nürburgring, the Rallycross Championship runs anti-clockwise.
Those who want to see the races live at the Nürburgring can buy day tickets in advance for EUR 39 (Saturday) or EUR 49 (Sunday). Weekend tickets are available for EUR 59. Admission is free for children up to and including the age of 12. Teenagers aged 13-15 and people with disabilities (50% and over) pay half. VIP tickets are available as well.
