Trip back in time to discover the Nürburgring history

Take an exciting trip back in time to discover the eventful history of the Nürburgring. At the heart of this tour is the Historic Drivers’ Paddock which, together with the racetrack, was opened in 1927, and is now the oldest preserved drivers’ paddock in the world. The 55 identical pits were painstakingly restored in early 2011. Other interesting sights include the foundation stone, laid in 1925, and the wooden commentator’s cabin.
Rudolf Caracciola, Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips, Jochen Rindt and Stefan Bellof were all at home here. The legendary Silver Arrow was created in the Eifel. The Nürburgring’s history is characterised by Ring champions and epic legends, lap records and great victories, but it has also had its share of defeats and tragedies. Explore the track’s history and immerse yourself in an eventful past that continues to fascinate right up to the present day.
