Green Hell Driving Days – long weekend for tourist drivers

The "Green Hell Driving Days" from 28 to 30 October 2016 promise to be once again an unofficial holiday for tourist drivers. 3 whole days in a row, the history-charged circuit opens its doors to all who want to experience the myth themselves and to roll on historic tracks of 90 years “Green Hell”.

The Nürburgring Nordschleife with its 20.832 kilometers  is not only the longest, permanent race track in the world, but also offers a special experience with its unique layout through the Eifel forests. It is not for nothing that the 24-hour race enjoys the reputation of the toughest race in the world. For many drivers from all over the world, it is therefore a lifetime dream to drive here. Anyone standing at the top of the podium at the end of this endurance race will irrevocably secure a place in the history books of motorsports.

Within the scope of the so-called tourist drives, the Nürburgring offers visitors from all over the world the opportunity to drive on the historic asphalt with its entire history by their own and to experience a piece of motorsport history themselves. The "Green Hell Driving Days" are a highlight as it offers this experience for several days at a time.

During the last weekend of October, the "Green Hell" will open all day at the following times:


  • Friday, Oct. 28: 8:00 - 18:00
  • Saturday, Oct. 29: 8:00 - 18:00
  • Sunday, Oct. 30: 8:00 - 17:00
