In 2009, a new, future-oriented payment system is being introduced at the Nürburgring: the ring°card.

From 1 January 2009 the ring°card will be used for tourist training laps on the Nordschleife and will replace the previous Nordschleife tickets. It can be fi lled at the cash desks at the Nordschleife and Breidscheid entrances with one or more laps, or purchased as a one-year card against cash or using an EC card. The laps on the card remain valid until 31.12. of the year in which they were purchased. It is not possible to return the laps once they have been credited to the card.

Everything from one source: the ring°card!
From summer 2009, the ring°card will be the sole method of payment on the whole Nürburgring. It will simultaneously function as an admission ticket to events, as a method of payment in restaurants and bars, at Eifeldorf Grüne Hölle, at catering stands or fan shops and even as admission to the ring°werk and to your hotel room booked at the Nürburgring. The ring°card is available at all fi xed and mobile cash desks on the Nürburgring grounds, and can also be conveniently booked via the Internet at www.nuerburgring.de with the amount you require or the number of laps you would like. The ring°card will then
be sent to your home address.

How can amounts on the card be reclaimed?
You yourself decide whether to take the ring°card home with you—amounts stored on the card remain valid for two years—or whether to return the card. It may be returned at any fixed ring°card cash desks and at the Welcome Center. At least one cash desk is open around the clock.
